To put together a countertop proposal, we need a rough drawing, including measurements, of your cabinets that are receiving new tops. It doesn't need to be exact; it simply needs to illustrate sizes of tops (on all sides), walls, appliance locations, and sink placement. Prior material selections aren’t necessary, we can provide you with a general quote for either natural or manufactured stone encompassing the various price groups we offer. If you would like to have any additional services quoted (e.g. sinks, tearout, etc.), please let us know. We will promptly put your estimate together and email it to you in the following few days. For more detailed information, please follow the link below.
If you haven’t already made a material selection, this stage is when you would do so. Our sales staff will happily show you around our slab and remnant yards and assist you in choosing your material(s). The next step is to select an edge profile and pick out sinks, if applicable. You’re also welcome to provide your own sink. At this time, we will also go over the necessity of additional services such as stone backsplash, buildup, etc. The link below provides you with a general guide on expectations you should have for us and expectations that we have for you, as the customer or contractor.
We offer six different edge profiles. The eased and half bullnose edges are our most popular. For a summary of the main differences between profiles, see the link below.
The final step prior to your template is to finalize sink selections. We stock a variety of sinks for a range of projects and we can order in countless other options. We have a relationship with many plumbing suppliers in the area as well so if you have a sink with one of them, we can set it up for delivery or pickup. Please note that we will need your sink on hand during fabrication to use as a template when creating your sink cutouts. We'll then bring your sinks to your scheduled install appointment and mount them for you onsite.
